Editorial policy

This page explains how a role page is made, what is checked before it goes live, and what we leave out. It exists so you can decide how far to trust what you read here.

Where the facts come from

Each role page starts from the public job listing: the title, the pay range, hours or time per task, location, number of openings, contract type and posting date. Those fields are recorded as they appear. We show the date we last checked them on every page.

How the text is written

The listing's description is condensed and reworded rather than pasted. Pages are drafted with AI assistance from the listing's own content and approved by the site owner before publishing. We add a plain statement of who a role is not for and a few questions answered only from the listing. We do not add facts that the listing does not contain, and we do not guess at missing ones.

How pay is handled

  • We show the listing's figures only. Where the description and the listing's pay field disagree, the page says so.
  • If the listing pays per approved task, the page says that the figure is an hourly equivalent.
  • If the listing does not state weekly hours, we do not turn the rate into a monthly income estimate.

Checks before a page ships

Automated checks run on every build. A role page must fall within a set word range, share no more than 60 percent of its wording with any other page, show its pay, hours (or a note that they are not stated), location, source and checked date, and contain no language that promises hiring, interview success or pay beyond the listing. A page that fails is dropped from the build instead of being patched.

Freshness and removal

We re-check roles at least weekly. When a listing closes or changes materially, we update the page or remove it. If you land on a page that no longer exists, the site shows a not-found page with links to current roles.
